Meet the teachers!
Friday, 24 November 2023Today, Liz Perkus - Cambridge School Sant Celoni
1) Where are you from?
I'm from a small town near Boston, Massachusetts. The most interesting thing about my hometown is that Aerosmith played there once before they were famous.
2) What did you do before becoming an English teacher?
In school I studied horticulture, and I've worked as an agriculture researcher, farmer, and biology teacher.
3) What brought you here?
My husband is from Lloret de Mar. We lived together in the US for a while, and it was time to spend a few years here.
4) What is it like living/working here?
I like living here a lot, it's great to be so close to beautiful beaches and mountains. And I love the tradition of vermouth, who doesn't like a salty snack?
5) What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I like to meet up with friends, go hiking and camping, go to the beach, and work on my garden.
A tu i als teus alumnes, us desitgem un molt bon curs!
